Sharing the SAR Values: An immersive study tour
A Paradigm Project Pop Up
MAY 2-4, 2023
BRONX, NY
Come to SAR for an extraordinary experience! At SAR you will see how the educators value the voice of children. What they say and think matters, and the school has created an environment where they can discover and grow in an inquiry based, hands-on, and meaningful way. This study tour will highlight how the school is infused with Jewish values and Hebrew language opportunities while appreciating all that the world has to offer. The community believes in the freedom to explore and discover, and that children’s play is their work. At the same time, central to the school's work is Jewish practice and tradition.
SAR educators along with Dr. Lyndall Miller, Rabbi Dr. Meir Muller, and Alana Gelnick will facilitate immersive sessions and experiences.
The Paradigm Project partners with leaders in the field of Jewish Education to convene high quality professional development opportunity for educators to continue their journey of life-long learning. We Pop Up and create the Paradigm experience in your neighborhood, and we also intentionally and warmly welcome educators from near and far to join in on the fun. This experience provides a professional development that integrates high standards of hospitality, strong content, and a Jewish lens to frame the work.
This Pop-Up will give you access to the environment, educators, leadership, and a chance to debrief with colleagues and consider how your observations can be used at your own sites.
Together we will inspire each other to expand our thinking so that, as #ParadigmShifters, we set into motion and sustain journeys of growth.
