There are rituals and traditions connected to many life cycle events in Jewish tradition. From birth to death, the Jewish community celebrates these occasions with specific customs that may be unfamiliar or seem strange. In this session we’ll make sure that if you’re invited to a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a Jewish wedding or funeral, you’ll know what to expect so that you’ll be comfortable participating. You’ll also be able to bring this knowledge back to your school so that when children are curious about these events you can be a fantastic resource to them.
