Join Boulder Journey School for their 2023 Summer conference, 'Multiple Perspectives, Collective Wisdom,'  in person in beautiful Boulder, Colorado!

This Pop-Up will give you access to the environment, educators, leadership at the
Boulder Journey School, and a chance to debrief with colleagues and consider how your observations can be used at your own sites.

This Conference hosts a few hundred educators and sells out quickly; when you attend through the Paradigm Project, you join a smaller cohort of 20 educators from Jewish early childhood centers around North America. Together we will participate in the Conference and then in our smaller group, we will share assorted meals together and reflect on what we have seen using Jewish lenses. In addition, we will stay in Boulder after the conference to visit the stellar early childhood program at the Boulder JCC. Education leader extraordinaire Judi Morosohk will be your host, and she will help you feel right at home in Boulder.

This conference promises to inspire, rejuvenate, and equip you with lots of new ways of thinking to bring home.

Conference Fees Include:
  • Access to all programming at the Boulder Journey School Conference, encompassing 14 hours of learning accompanied by a PD certificate plus  the opportunity to network with educators from around the globe.
  • Most meals and snacks
  • Accommodations at the Comfort Inn & Suites

Transportation:
  • Please arrange all flights and ground transportation
  • You are responsible for transportation from the airport to the hotel on June 21st and from the Boulder JCC (6007 Oreg Ave. Boulder 80303) to the airport.  The airport is about one hour from Boulder.   The best two options other than renting a car are either:
    • Shuttle bus ride: The Eight Black Airport Shuttle can give you a ride from the airport to the hotel; and from the Boulder JCC to the airport, at a cost  $55 per person each way. There are some discounts for groups.
    • The RTD bus system: This is the most economical option and easy to navigate. HERE  is info on bussing from the airport to the hotel. You’ll take the  AB1 (airport to downtown Boulder station) and the 204 (Boulder bus station to the hotel). The AB1 ticket is $10.50 cash, paid directly to the bus driver (exact change required) and the 204 is $3.
  • The Boulder Journey School is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel (0.7 of a mile)
  • Downtown Boulder (Pearl St Pedestrian Mall) is about 3 miles from the hotel and Chautauqua Park is about 5 miles away. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from our dinner locations and the Boulder JCC on Friday. Our host-with-the-most, Judi, is happy to take people in her car and several other people may have cars for carpooling. Uber and Lyft are also both available.
